Do Weight Loss Pills Work?
Weight loss pills are a  widely used over the counter (OTC) product that many overweight people use to lose weight. There are many weight loss pills that are specially made to help you slim down. There are many weight control pills on the floor, but not all of them are safe. Only few of them are medically tested and are safe to use.

Other pills are not clinically tested. These pills  may help you to lose weight but may result in serious side effects. As we know, there are always two sides of a coin. The same principle applies to the  weight loss pill.

The weight control pill can suppress your appetite and increases the metabolism of your body. However, many other health problems are part of these pills. Not all the pills are safe or effective. You can get heart disease, sleeping disorder, high blood pressure and restlessness, if you use these pills.

Tragically, people are using these pills with full confidence because they are ready to lose weight at any cost. The few commonly used weight loss pills are Xenical and Meridia or based on Phentermine.

Xenical holds back an enzyme called lipase. This enzyme works in the intestines to break down and absorb fat. This weight loss pill is helpful to you because it reduces the quantity of fat that our body absorbs. It decreases the quantity of fat absorbed by almost 30%. However, this pill has side effects such as diarrhea because of the undigested food.

Phentermine is substance that is used by most of the overweight people for weight maintenance.

Meridia is an appetite suppressant that helps to kill you appetite and to make you eat less. This pill may lead to increased heartbeat and high blood pressure.

You can use all these pills to decrease your body weight. Remember that you do so at your own risk as there are numerous documented and yet unknown side effects. It is safer for you to opt for dieting techniques and vigorous exercise. Change your eating pattern by consuming more vegetables and fruit and fewer carbohydrates in the form of rice, potatoes or pasta

Such an approach will be safer, more effective and will result in sustainable weight loss.
