It is basically a Mediterranean style diet, that calls for eating mono saturated fats or MUFA instead of saturated fat components to dip the fat with in a few weeks. The plan advocates intake of 1600 calories everyday which should be distributed in 4 separate meals in the interval of 4 hours. Dark chocolate Fruits (seasonal) Vegetables ( seasonal) Whole grains Lean protien Red meat (little of it) Thereon the person follows the 1600 calories plan. Also, exercising is optional. Thus it is a very easy to follow diet plan. The best part about this diet is that you never feel hungry as you eat foods which keep you full. Thus you can stick to diet and get assured results. You don't have to keep a strict watch on your calories intake, just mix and match MUFA components in your diet. So it does not affect your taste buds too.
