Gaining weight is not as easy as you think it to be. It is as tough as losing weight. Proper weight management should be a big agenda of your daily routine. In the process of weight maintenance, the only common factor that exists between both weight gaining and losing weight is that you need to follow a proper diet plan. The following is a diet plan that will help you to gain weight.

1. The most important thing to keep in mind is that you should keep a tab on the caloric intake in your meals. Do not reduce the calories count and weigh yourself regularly.

2. Now when you know the exact calorie intake, slowly and gradually increase it. For instance, if your normal calorie intake is 2000, you should increase it around 2400-2500.

3.  Divide this increased calories intake into five to six meals rather than restricting yourself to three meals a day.

4. Exercising regularly is also an important part of any diet plan, which will help you to gain weight. Visit a gym regularly and practice those exercises that are specifically designed to help you.

Remember, you can only gain weight if you burn fewer carbohydrates and follow a proper fitness routine. Dieting in any way will not help you achieve your goal of weight gain. Remember that there is one note of caution. Your already existing body weight should be capable of supporting your increased diet.
