How to Use Herbs for Weight Loss?
Advancements in medicine and science have fostered a world where there is a solution to every possible disorder in the human body. This goes for everything from life threatening problems like cancer to some common disorders like excessive weight. Though a person has ample choice from oral medications to complex surgeries, to shed weight but all of these have their own side effects.

Why go in for these medical procedures when you have nature’s way of reducing weight? There are several natural methods that can help you shed weight effectively but herbs seem to be the best bet. As per the Ayurveda, herbs are the nature’s most effective way of dealing with weight problems.

These herbs can be used in several forms. Here are some ways in which you can put these herbs to use for effective weight loss.

Juice
Whenever you are using herbs in a juice form for weight loss, make sure you use only fresh leaves, flowers or stems of the herb. Crush the herb to make a paste. Strain the paste to take out the juice and then consume two tablespoons a day.

Infusion
Soak 1 part of herbs to eight part of water to make an infusion. You could either make a hot infusion by adding hot water to the herbs or heating the mixture gently. Alternatively you could even make cold infusion by soaking the herbs overnight in water.

Tablets
For making tablets, herbs are first dried and the mixed together in powder form. Water is added to this powder to make a paste. This paste is dried in specific portions to make tablets. Consumption of 1 to two tablets twice a day will help in losing weight.

Decoction
Soak one part of herbs to sixteen parts of water overnight. Heat this mixture till it reduces to one fourth of the original volume to form a decoction. Store this mixture in a glass bottle and consume twp tablespoons twice a day. The results are going to be impressive.

Powder
For using herbs in powder form, they need to be dried first. Some herbs may be dried in a cool, well ventilated place, while some may be exposed to direct sunlight for drying purposes. This powder can be consumed along with water, milk or honey as specified. Herb powders have showed great results.

Paste
Various parts of the herb can be used to make a paste. These parts could be anything such as flowers, roots, stems, bark or leaves. You could use these parts of the herb in both fresh or dried from.

Use herbs in any of the above mentioned ways and you shall be losing weight real soon and that too naturally.
